The AFL has confirmed the league’s Integrity Unit will investigate the sending of multiple racist online messages to Port Adelaide forward Willie Rioli after his team’s match against Collingwood at Adelaide Oval
After the match, The 28-year-old shared screenshots of multiple messages that were sent to him, highlighting the abuse with the caption “smart guys”.
Collingwood has condemned the abuse and said the club had been in contact with the Power and the AFL’s Integrity Unit.
