Government axes 50 road projects in funding overhaul | ABC News

The federal government has stripped 82 infrastructure projects of their federal funding.
Seventeen will be affected in New South Wales, including three railway station carparks that had been promised in the run-up to the 2019 election.
A dozen projects in Victoria will also lose their funding, including the Geelong fast rail project.
Infrastructure Minister Catherine King says many projects lacked proper planning.
