First beams going up at new Ryan Field at Northwestern | CBS News Chicago 
The first steel beams are being installed at the new Ryan Field in Evanston. It will eventually become Northwestern University’s new football stadium along the lakefront. It’s expected to open in 2026 and will include community park and greenspaces.
