Headline 1 War cabinet meeting convenes to discuss latest hostage deal proposal
The narrow war cabinet convenes this evening to discuss the latest hostage release and truce proposal, laid out in a public speech by President Joe Biden on Friday.
The proposal put forth by Biden, which is based on an Israeli framework, is a three-phase plan that would result in the release of all hostages, the end of the war, and a rebuilding of the Gaza Strip without Hamas in power.
Hopefully, they will make their position clear. According to Netanyahu and Gallant Israel will not stop until they complete their war goals, destroying the military capability of Hamas and seeing another leadership group installed in Gaza, possibly being them temporarily.
HEADLINE 2 ISRAEL REJECTS HAMAS’ PRECONDITION FOR CEASEFIRE TALKS
Hamas, responding to the latest Israeli offer, has declared that any new peace negotiations must be preceded by a total end to Israeli hostilities. Israel has firmly rejected these preconditions, insisting on its right to continue operations against Hamas and other terrorist forces in Gaza.
This is helpful to Israel. Hamas is rejecting the deal that Biden put forth, demanding that the hostage release is the last thing that will happen. Israel counters and says this is a non-starter. Therefore, they can blame Hamas for not accepting the deal and keep on fighting.
Headline 3 White House official says Israel has ‘accomplished most military goals in Gaza’
Israel has accomplished most of its military goals in the war against Hamas, White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby says.
Israel says it needs another seven months to finish what it started. The US is in no position to tell them when they must quit. Hopefully, Israel will stay the course.
Headline 4 Twice the drones, twice the missiles: 120,000 more Israelis now within Hezbollah’s range
Nahariya residents rushed to shelters 3 times Sunday as drone crash sparked fire; Acre faces sirens for 3rd consecutive day, and Katzrin battles fires after rocket barrage.
Nahariya and Acre are two of Israel’s northernmost cities. For months, these cities had relative calm, especially compared to neighboring communities. All of this has changed.
That makes 200,000 people in Israel’s north who are in harms way from rocket attacks from Lebanon. Obviously, they cannot let that continue.

We again stress how remarkable all of this is. The books of the New Testament were completed almost 2,000 years ago, the Old Testament some 400 years plus before that. The prophets, including the Lord Jesus, predicted what our world would be like before God’s kingdom would come to the earth. Everything is falling into place.
We are also told in the book of Daniel, written over 2,500 years ago, that at the time of the end, the wise would understand the predictions Scripture makes about the last days…
I heard what he said, but I did not understand what he meant. So I asked, “How will all this finally end, my lord?”
But he said, “Go now, Daniel, for what I have said is kept secret and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means (Daniel 12:8-10 NLT).
The wise are those who take the Bible seriously and interpret the predictions of the end in a literal, normal manner.
All in all, we should be excited and humbled by what we see. Exactly as the Bible predicted, these different things are all falling into place. The God of the Bible is indeed in control of everything.
This includes the events that take place in our own lives.
He is indeed with us! So, let’s trust Him!
