Our top stories… Blinken in Israel for a last chance hostage deal. Former justice minister says the deal proposed today is the worst imaginable for Israel. There was a possible Hezbollah drone spotted near Netanyahu’s seaside home. Even a ceasefire with Hamas would do nothing to stop the massive Hezbollah threat.
Finally, one hundred thousand plus anti-Israel protestors are showing up at the Democratic Convention in Chicago.
Headline 1 Blinken: This is maybe the last opportunity to return Gaza hostages
This could be the last possible moment to return the remaining 115 hostages in Gaza, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in Israel on Monday morning as he urged both Israel and Hamas not to thwart a deal.
“This is a decisive moment,” Blinken said as he met with President Isaac Herzog in Jerusalem.
It’s “probably the best, maybe the last opportunity to get the hostages home, to get a ceasefire, and to put everyone on a better path to enduring peace and security. A senior US official described the Cairo meeting as “end game” talks.
In other words, take this deal or there will be no deal for a ceasefire or for the release of the hostages.
However, as our next story points out, herein lies the problem.
Headline 2 Former Justice Minister: Deal proposed today is ‘the worst deal imaginable’
New prisoner swap deal would see just 20 living hostages released in exchange for long-term ceasefire, former Justice Minister Haim Ramon warns. Ramon spoke out against the proposed ceasefire-prisoner swap deal, saying that it is “the worst deal” that Israel could possibly agree to.
In other words, there is no chance that Israel would accept this horrible deal for an immediate ceasefire. If so, the war would be over, and Hamas would have won.
So, what are we left with? Basically, we now wait the response from Iran and Hezbollah. Are they still going to attack Israel militarily and if so, then to what degree? These are the big questions.
Headline 3 Possible Hezbollah drone spotted near PM’s seaside home; jets scrambled
This is worrisome.
Headline 4 Hezbollah’s terror network poses major strategic threat to Israel that cease-fire will not solve
The Lebanese-based Hezbollah terrorist group released a video Friday showcasing what it claimed was a sophisticated underground facility that could be used to attack Israel.
The publication came at a time of elevated tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, a few weeks after Israel assassinated Fuad Shukr, a senior commander of the group in Beirut. Hezbollah pledged revenge against the Jewish state, which has since been on high alert in anticipation of an attack.
United Nations (UN) Resolution 1701, which ended the last war between Israel and Hezbollah in 2006, was supposed to distance the terrorist group from the border but did not. UN peacekeeping forces have not stopped Hezbollah from consistently improving its capabilities, transforming into Israel’s most formidable enemy.
One Israeli spokesman said, It is clear after the 7th of October that Israel cannot come to terms with such abilities on its border. This is not acceptable. A cease-fire is not a solution for the residents of the north. There needs to be some sort of mechanism that would disarm Hezbollah. Previous UN resolutions have proven they cannot achieve this.”
This points out the unmistakable need for Israel to do something to end this threat…. Indeed, the situation, as it stands, cannot go on forever.
Headline 5 100,000 Anti-Israel Demonstrators Expected In Chicago
Chicago, IL (VINnews)— The Democratic National Convention (DNC) has been met with a surge of protests as an estimated 100,000 Anti Israel rioters descend on the city, voicing their discontent with the Democratic Party and Kamala Harris. The protesters, many of whom are rallying against U.S. support for Israel, have already begun gathering near the convention site, sparking significant security concerns.
Anti-Israel sentiment again hits the headlines… it never goes away…
These events confirm two of the “last days” signs that are documented in our book 25 Signs We Are Near The End….Israel’s Continual Search For Peace Sign 7… Israel’s isolation from the rest of the world, Sign 21.

All in all, it seems that we are in for a very decisive week.
Let’s. continue to pray!
