The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says the ABC have spent $5.2 million on advertising so far this financial year.

“More than $4 million audience research which I think they maybe need to spend it a bit more carefully because they don’t seem to be catering to their audiences because they are dwindling in numbers,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Their radio ratings and their TV ratings have been falling in recent years.”
