Thousands of people have gathered in Seoul to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Itaewon Halloween crowd crush. The stampede killed 158 people – 26 of them foreigners – most of them aged in their 20s and 30s. Many survivors and families of the victims say they still haven’t been given adequate answers as to what went wrong that night, and they want to see some kind of accountability from the government.
