Iranian teenager Armita Geravand dies, IRNA reports

Armita Geravand, a 16-year-old Iranian girl, died following an encounter with officers over violating Iran’s hijab law, the official IRNA news agency reported. Geravand was pronounced brain dead last week after she fell into a coma on October 1.
