Man dies after being shot multiple times in Melbourne's inner south-east | ABC News

Homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at South Yarra, in Melbourne’s inner south-east, in what police say appears to have been a targeted attack.
Police have confirmed the 53-year-old man who died had links to Melbourne’s criminal underworld and was known to police.
Police were called after a number of shots were fired at a man walking along Almeida Crescent around 11:40pm.
